About the leader
Hello.
My name is Colbie. I am the leader and founder of Cow Power
Ministries. I hold CPM sessions in my home one night a week. And I do my best to
keep this website updated and running properly.
I feel very honored and blessed to be a part of something like this. I can be
a bit of a timid person at times. So the fact that I feel God guiding me forward
into a role that takes a lot of courage helps me to understand that He sees
more in me than what I could ever see. I thank Him for that. It humbles me
greatly and I continue to pray for guidance from His Holy Spirit regularly.
I live in Newport, Arkansas. I’ve spent most of my life here and I have seen
many of this town’s ups and downs. It’s moments of glory and it’s times of ill
repute. I would love to see a huge turn around in Newport. But it has to start
with God and a great love for Him. And I pray that I get to be a part of God’s
grand movement.
I am a part of the LGBT community. I have noticed that there is not much of a
pro-LGBT outlet in Newport and its surrounding areas. Of course, being in the
Bible belt, it is not difficult to understand why it is this way. God’s church
has such a broad misunderstanding of what the Bible has to say about the issue
of homosexuality. I hope that Cow Power Ministries can be a project that makes
an impact in this community and give the surrounding church people a better
understanding of an issue that it seems to fear and hate so much.
As for my personal life, there’s not much to say right now. I work at my job
during the night, I spend time at a church here in Newport that I really enjoy
during the day, I work on my own ministry (Cow Power) here and there, I spend
time with friends and family often, and I catch some rest whenever I can. My
hobbies are: listening to music, video gaming, catching a good show or movie
every now and then, enjoying those that are close to me, and just spending time
with Yahweh.
