(part 4)
Question 10: I have a hard time believing a straight person would go against their own natural sexual
orientation. Why would somebody do that?
Answer: Great question! Blows my mind, too. Remember, the pagans in the Bible were doing various
sexual acts with multiple partners for a variety of reasons. They made up “gods” in their own minds
that would fulfill the desires of their flesh. They created different false gods with different requests.
Some of the most popular gods were called fertility gods. It seems as though in Biblical times, baring
several children to make the family or tribe greater was important. So it was a bit embarrassing if a
woman was barren or a man was sterile. The fertility gods were worshiped because they were
believed to grant fertility and increase birthrates. And of course, it’s through sex that we reproduce.
So the more sex the pagans had during their cultic worship rituals, the better they believed they were
pleasing their “god.” This probably sounds disgusting and unthinkable. But keep in mind that they had
already turned away from the one true God. So they weren’t exactly thinking with the healthy and logical
mindset that they probably once had.
Fertility gods were also believed to grant greater reproduction in the animals that were being raised and
the crops that were being grown. This would mean more food for the pagans. So these idol worshipers
would go into their worship temples, have sex with someone dressed up to resemble their god or
goddess, and the male pagans would be under the impression that the sperm that they just gave to their
god would be seeds used to bring great multiplicity into their lives. The male pagans who were desperate
to have more children, animals, and crops didn’t get picky about the gender of the person used to
represent their false idol during sex. They were more concerned about what idol would give them the
most of what they wanted at that time.
Although the name “Astaroth” (other times called Ashtoreth, Ashterathite, etc.) is mentioned as a city in
the book of Joshua, it is also the name of a very popular fertility goddess mentioned in verses like Judges
2:13, Judges 10:6, 1 Samuel 7:3-4, 1 Samuel 12:10, 1 Samuel 31:10, 1 Kings 11:5, 1 Kings 11:33, and 2 Kings
23:13.
In today’s world, there are other instances in which straight people turn against their own natural
orientation. One of the most well known examples is in prison. Sometimes men who have been in prison
for many years and haven’t had the chance to be with a woman in a very long time become sexually
frustrated. So they may take their frustration out on a smaller, weaker man by raping him. Another example
is in the pornography business. There has been a big boom in recent years over what is called “gay for pay.”
These are straight men who do gay pornos simply because they may get paid way more for it than for doing
a heterosexual porno.
And let's not forget the popular pagan god named Molech (Moloch). He can befound in the Bible in places
such as: Leviticus 18:21, Leviticus 20:2-5, 1 Kings 11:7, 2 Kings 23:10, and Jeremiah 32:35. This false god
(along with many other idols) is still being worshiped today. By who, you ask? You may be surprised at what
you find. The Bohemian Grove Club. A secret society in relation with Skull and Bones Club (and the Illuminati)
that consists of some of the world's top leaders. So basically, some of the same rich, heterosexual, married,
"conservatives" that you see on tv yelling at you to be fearful of gay marriage could be spending their spare
time in a secret location with male prostitutes that they are using in worship of a "god" that is FAR from the
God of the Bible.
Question 11: “If all this is true, and the Bible verses you have discussed are not against homosexuality,
where are gays at in the Bible?”
Answer: Gay people are a part of a group of people in the bible called “eunuchs.” Let’s look into this umbrella
term. In chapter 19 of Mathew, Jesus is having a discussion with some men about divorce, marriage, and
whether or not it is a good idea for certain men to even marry a woman at all. Here is Jesus‘ response in
Mathew 19:11-12:
“All men cannot receive this saying, only they to whom it is given.
For there are some eunuchs, who were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs,
who were made eunuchs of men: and there are eunuchs, who have made themselves eunuchs for the
kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.”
We see that Jesus described three types of eunuchs. Let’s start with the third and go backwards. The third type
mentioned are ones “who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven.” The common definition
of these people are the ones who are celibate. An example of this would be a nun. The second type mentioned
are ones “who were made eunuchs of men.” These people were castrated (had their testicles removed). This
way, they would not have to deal with sexual frustration and lust that would cause them to get aroused.
Therefore, they would not have to resort to a marriage that they didn’t really want in order to keep from
fornicating. The first type of eunuchs are ones “who were born so of their mother’s womb.” This is where the
debate comes in. Many will argue that these people are born with a birth defect of the genitals. But the
question is: would this stop a person from wanting to get married? Not necessarily. This leaves the answer to
the natural born eunuch to gays. Because gay men are not born with the desire to have a wife. But more on
this later.
So what exactly was the point of eunuchs? Where were they and what did they do? 2 Kings 20:18 and Isaiah
39:7 discus eunuchs living in royal palaces. Although Jeremiah 52:25 mentions eunuchs in some Bible
translations, other translations may say something similar to “court officers who were overseers of soldiers”
in place of the word eunuchs. So what else were they doing in palaces?
“Eunuch” comes from the Greek word “eunouchos,” which means “bed keeper” or “bed guard.” Eunuchs were
chamberlains that were superintendents of the bedchambers in royal places. In other words, eunuchs were
placed in palaces of royal families (especially those with Kings who supported many wives and concubines) to
be in charge of the women’s harem, specifically their sleeping areas.
In 2 Kings 9:32, there were two or three eunuchs that were able to throw the wicked Jezebel over a balcony
because of their easy access to her. Acts 8:27 speaks of a eunuch under the direct authority of a queen named
Candace. He was also the queen’s treasurer. As we can see, eunuchs had exclusive access to women of power
and importance. But why? Remember, there are three types of eunuchs: those who are celibate, those who
have had their testicles removed, and gays. Obviously, these three descriptions show types of men who would
not want anything to do with a woman sexually. This is the reason why they were trusted around important
women. You see, women of royalty needed to be protected while not around their male family members. In
order for them to not be at risk of being kidnapped or raped, they needed the protection of men who would
not be tempted by them sexually. In the ancient world, eunuchs were widely known for seducing other men.
And although Alexander the great had relationships with women, he was believed to have had male lovers,
one specifically called a eunuch.
Esther 2:1-4 says:
“After these things, when the wrath of King Ahasuerus subsided, he remembered Vashti, what she had done,
and what had been decreed against her. Then the king’s servants who attended him said: “Let beautiful
young virgins be sought for the king; and let the king appoint officers in all the beautiful young virgins to
Shushan the citadel, into the women’s quarters, under the custody of Hegai the king’s eunuch, custodian of
the women. And let beauty preparations be given them. Then let the young woman who pleases the king be
queen instead of Vashti.” This thing pleased the king, and he did so.”
Esther 2:12-15 says:
“Each young woman’s turn came to go in to King Ahasuerus after she had completed twelve months’
preparation, according to the regulations for the women, for thus were the days of their preparation
apportioned: six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with perfumes and preparations for beautifying
women. Thus prepared, each young woman went to the king and she was given whatever she desired to take
with her from the women’s quarters to the king’s palace. In the evening she went, and in the morning she
returned to the second house of the women, to the custody of Shaashgaz, the king’s eunuch who kept the
concubines. She would not go in to the king again unless the king delighted in her and called for her by name.
Now when the turn came for Esther the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her as his
daughter, to go in to the king, she requested nothing but what Hegai the king’s eunuch, the custodian of the
women, advised. And Eshter obtained favor in the sight of all who saw her.”
In these verses, we see that the eunuchs were responsible for the beauty preparations for those important
women, using things such as oils and perfumes. The also gave the women much advice on how to impress
the King or whoever they had their eyes on. You know, if you think about it, this sound like some of the very
same stereotypes of gay men today. Gay males have been known for giving the female friends fashion tips
and advice on how to get the guy that they want. Also in our modern America, although not ruled by kings
and queens like some countries, are women of importance and power are usually celebrities. And on tv, we
see the dominance of gay men in the fashion, hair, and beauty industries. Especially in a variety of reality tv
shows, such as RuPaul’s Drag Race, Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, America’s Next Top Model, and Project
Runway.
Some would have a hard time believing that gay men would be put into a group of men made for protecting
women because they “may not be strong enough” for the job. However, you must consider the condition of
the castrated eunuch. Testosterone in produced in the testicles of a male. So if a man is castrated (by having
his testicles removed), he will lack the testosterone needed to help him build muscle and bone mass. Also, if
a male is castrated before puberty, he would not get the deep voice, the broader body and facial features,
and facial hair that other men would. This would make the castrated eunuch weaker than the gay eunuch.
So what has happened since the times when gays were still acknowledged as a type of the eunuch? Prejudice
and the devil has had their way for far too long. And now, not only are many not aware of what a natural born
eunuch is, but in some places where gays are still considered part of this group, they are considered outcasts.
Eunuchs, especially born eunuchs, in places like India are treated like second class citizens. They are sometimes
forced to live in very poor, unclean areas and are usually refused decent paying jobs. So they take up the very
limited jobs that they can and work for whatever a person is willing to pay them.
Question 12: “If gays are a part of the eunuch categories, this would mean that they are okay with God. But are
you sure that this doesn’t contradict God’s word, Laws or Covenant?”
Answer: It is important to understand this issue the best that we can to get an answer. I’m no professional on
this, but I will explain what I know the best that I can.
The first five books of the Bible are called the Pentateuch (or Torah) and they include the Ten Commandments
and the Law. These books consist of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. The Ten
Commandments are found in Exodus 20:2-17 and Deuteronomy 5:6-21. The other Laws are found in Exodus
21-23, Leviticus 1-7, 11-15, and 17-26, and Deuteronomy 12-26. These Law verses sometimes start out with
something like: “Thou shall not,” or “You shall.”
The problem is that not every Christian agrees on how the Law system should or shouldn’t be observed anymore.
There are about four different outlooks that I have heard. I’ll call them A, B, C, and D and explain them each.
Outlook A: These people say: “Thanks to Jesus, we are no longer under the Law anymore. We are not perfect,
therefore we can’t fulfill the Law. So we should just rely on our faith in Jesus as our new living Covenant.”
Outlook B: These people say: “Jesus came to fulfill the Law, but not to do away with it. The Law is necessary
because it shows us are sins and all that we do wrong so that we may be corrected. Therefore, it would be a
mistake to ignore it.”
Outlook C: (These people seem to have a slight combination of both A and B) The people say: “Our works cannot
save us because it is through our faith in Jesus that we have our salvation. However, the Ten Commandments are
still important because it helps us understand what God expects from us. But it is important to take things in
context and realize that there are two types of Laws: The Laws that we don’t go by anymore because they were
put in place for the Israelites at that time. And the Laws that we do still go by because they are in some way still
found in the Ten Commandments.”
Okay, outlooks A and B are pretty self-explanatory. But what about outlook C? What does that mean? What type
of Laws is it saying we still go by? Let’s see what this is about before we move on. First, let’s look at the Ten
Commandments.
I am the Lord thy God.
1. Thou shall have no other gods before me.
2. Thou shall not make unto the any graven image.
3. Thou shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
5. Honor thy father and thy mother.
6. Thou shall not kill.
7. Thou shall not commit adultery.
8. Thou shall not steal.
9. Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
10. Thou shall not covet anything that is thy neighbor’s.
Now let’s look at some of the Laws that we don’t follow anymore:
Deuteronomy 14:8 says:
“And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of
their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.”
If we still followed this verse today, we would not be able to eat any of the pork products that come from swine
(pigs), like bacon, sausage, pork chops, or ham. However, Jesus taught in Mathew 15:17-18 that it is not what
goes into the mouth that makes a person unclean/filthy, but rather what comes out (words) that make one
unclean. Also, in Acts 11:4-10, Peter gets a vision from Heaven of different animals and a voice telling him to go
kill and eat. Peter’s argument was that he had never eaten anything unclean. But the voice told him that anything
that God had cleaned, to not call it unclean anymore.
There are other verses in the Laws that today’s Christians don’t go by, like Deuteronomy 14:9-10 which talks about
not eating certain types of seafood (more specifically shellfish, which would be shrimp and lobster), and
Deuteronomy 22:11 which talks about not wearing mixed fabrics, such as wool and linen together. As you can see,
these things do not “butt heads” with the Ten Commandments. So what kind of verses do? Let’s look at some:
“There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who
practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a
medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead.” -Deuteronomy 18:10-11
Doing the things that this verse tells you not to do could be going against the first commandment: “Thou shall have
no other gods before me.” Sending children through fire was a way for people to worship false gods. It’s a type of
devil worship. Doing things like witchcraft and sorcery is a way of trying to “play God,” so to speak. You would be
putting yourself in place of God. And as for calling up spirits, you must remember that when we die, we either go to
Heaven or Hell. Anything spiritual walking around on this earth would have to be an angel or a demon. If you are all
about life and God, you can hear from the Holy Spirit. But if you are trying to talk to the dead, you are talking to a
demonic spirit. This is because demons have the ability to disguise themselves as humans that have passed on. They
may take on the form of an old woman or a little child to try to appear innocent. This may seem like they are
just being friendly, but it is actually a deception. The more you spend time “communicating with the dead,” the more
you are actually giving permission to demonic spirits to be around you and cause trouble and illness in your home
and personal life. Demons (who, along with Satan, oppose God) want to be gods themselves. And they know that
when humans give them an ear, we are actually putting them before God because you are spending more time
talking to them and taking their advice. However, demons know that too many humans are not educated enough
about that fact. So they like to take advantage of the things we don’t know. Also, demons can be behind the evil and
mysterious things that go on in, what we call, haunted houses.
Leviticus 18:7 says: “The nakedness of your father or the nakedness of your mother you shall not uncover. She is your
mother; you shall not uncover her nakedness.”
Going against this verse would also be going against the fifth commandment: “Honor thy father and thy mother.”
Leviticus 18:20 says: “Moreover you shall not lie carnally with your neighbor’s wife, to defile yourself with her.”
Going against this verse would also be going against the seventh and tenth commandments: “Thou shall not commit
adultery” and “Thou shall not covet anything that is thy neighbor’s.”
Leviticus 18:21 says: “And you shall not let any of your descendants pass through the fire to Molech, nor shall you
profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.”
Doing what this verse says not to do would be going against the first commandment: “Thou shall have no other gods
before me.”
As you can see, the false god Molech that I spoke about earlier is mentioned here. And it expresses how people “pass
through the fire to Molech.” In other words, these people were doing ritualistic pagan worship to Molech. Also, they
were choosing this false god over the one true God. This is where things get interesting. You see, there are things that
we can do to anger God. But in some instances, it’s not always WHAT we do, it’s WHY we do it that angers God. And this
is a perfect example. Think about it. In our modern world, we have firefighters. Their job is to put out extreme fires and
rescue people from them. Let’s say a firefighter runs into a burning building and saves a child. Is God going to be mad
at this person for walking or running through a fire to save someone’s life? The Bible says that no one has greater love
than that of a person laying down his own life for a friend. So if a firefighter risks his own life to save someone else’s, of
course God wouldn’t be angry.
My point is that this particular verse is one that definitely has to be looked at in context. It’s not wrong to go through a
fire to try to rescue somebody. But going through a fire to show your allegiance to a false god is very wrong. And this
brings us back to Leviticus 18:22.
Leviticus 18:22 says: “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.”
As I explained earlier, this verse is not against gays, it’s against a homosexual act involving straight guys during cultic
shrine worship to another god. So this verse also must be taken in context like the previous verse had to be. It’s not
WHAT is happening, it’s WHY it’s happening. It’s not the men being together that’s the problem. It’s WHY they are
together. Is it out of love? No. It’s for the purposes of worshiping a false god.
That means this verse coincides with the first commandment: “Thou shall have no other gods before me.”
But just to further get my point across, let’s say this verse really was about two gay men and had absolutely nothing
to do with pagan temple worship of false idols. Which of the Ten Commandments would this verse match up with?
There is only one that I could think of: “Thou shall not commit adultery.” And what I mean is this: Let’s say there is a
gay man and he was not open about his true sexual orientation to everybody and pretended to be straight. So this
guy decides to get married to a woman as an attempt to “prove” to most people that he is straight. Finally, the guy
finds another man who is gay and decides to cheat on his wife with him. Maybe in this guy’s mind it’s all justified
because, of course, he doesn’t really love his wife anyway. BUT… it’s still adultery whether he wants to acknowledge
it or not. So regardless of if a person is cheating on their spouse with another man or another woman, adultery is
adultery no matter what.
Well, that’s pretty much all I have to say about outlook C. Finally, we have outlook D:
Outlook D: These people say: “It’s all about the two simple, yet great, commandments Jesus gave in the Gospel
because all of the Ten commandments are found in them.”
What do people mean by this? Well, Mathew 22:37-40 says: "Jesus said unto him, Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great Commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself. On
these two Commandments hang all the Law and the prophets."
All Ten Commandments can be found in these two Commandments that Jesus gave. How? The Ten Commandments
can be broken down into two sections (the God Commandments and the neighbor commandments). The first four
Commandments have mainly to do with our views on God and how we feel about Him. So they can be summed up
with the first of the two Commandments that Jesus gave: “Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, soul
and mind.” And the last six Commandments have mainly to do with our views on other human beings and how we
treat them. So they can be summed up with the second Commandment that Jesus gave: “Thou shall love they
neighbor as thyself.”
In other words, the Laws that Christians go by are found in the Ten Commandments, and the Ten Commandments
can be found in the two Commandments that Jesus gave us. Again, not everybody has the same outlook. And I’m
not going to argue about which outlook (A,B,C, or D) is the best to go by. The point that I wanted to make was that,
regardless of which one you go by, there is nothing in the Laws or Commandments against gays.
As for God’s Covenant in which we can receive God’s promises for us, some would say that being gay can keep a
person from being a part of God’s Covenant, also making that person ineligible to go to Heaven. However, that is
not the case at all. God, knowing that some people will try to argue that gays can’t partake in His covenant and
promises, went out of his way in chapter 56 of Isaiah to let us know that any and all eunuchs that believe in and
obey Him are welcome. Isaiah 56:4-5 says:
“For thus says the Lord: To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, and choose what pleases Me, and hold fast My
covenant, even to them I will give in My house and within My walls a place and a name better than that of sons and
daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off.”
Well, that’s pretty much all I have to say for this question. But before I move on to our last question, I want to bring
up something that will benefit a lot of gays out there. I know a person who didn’t get baptized until she was in her
thirties because she was told her whole life that she couldn’t get baptized while being a lesbian. Unfortunately, this
happens to people quite a bit. But the truth is, you do not have to attempt to be straight to be baptized according to
the Bible. Just read Acts 8:26-40. This tells the story of a man named Philip who meets and baptizes a eunuch. In fact,
the man is called a eunuch before and after he gets baptized. So he didn’t have to change who he was. There was NO
part where Philip asked the man anything like, “So… which of the three types of eunuchs are you? Because if you’re
the type that is born that way from your mother’s womb, you have to be “healed” before you can be baptized.” All the
eunuch had to do was confess that Jesus was the Son of God. That was enough.
orientation. Why would somebody do that?

queen instead of Vashti.” This thing pleased the king, and he did so.”
